                                       -Pellet Service-

Your pellet stove or insert requires maintenance in order to work the way that it was designed to. It is crucial that the appliance be kept clean so that air can move freely through the appliance and venting system. As the stove burns, ash is generated and deposited both in the stove and the venting system. Without seasonal maintenance, this ash can cause the stove to burn inefficiently and/or not at at all. Most pellet stove manufactures recommend a complete, professional cleaning after burning approximately two tons of pellets or annually (whichever comes first). A pellet stove cleaning goes outside the scope of daily ash removal. During your pellet cleaning your stove will receive the following:

  •  Complete cleaning of burn-chamber, heat exchanger, and ash pan area.
  •  Inspection and cleaning of burn-pot.
  •  Removal, inspection, and cleaning of exhaust blower.
  •  Removal, inspection, and cleaning of convection blower.
  •  Ash removal from venting system.
  • Verification of pellet stove operation.
